Postings for the last couple of days haven’t been as frequent due to what you see here: I’ve been busy redesigning the site, and of course doing the requisite head-banging and hair-pulling that comes with the job. I’d rather be writing, which entails only the comparative pleasure of cutting a vein open and bleeding. But postings might still be slow for the next couple of days. The job is nowhere near done (one of these days a stork will deliver my blog roll), I have no idea what I’m doing, I’m not quite sure why I’m redesigning at all—the old version had a charm now lost, I think, in this one—but I received enough reports of browser brawls and Robert Altman-like text overlap caused by my ex-layouts that some kind of revamp became inevitable.
